2024 County Holiday Calendar and Board Meeting Schedule

BRIEF OVERVIEW
Attached for the Board’s consideration is the 2024 Hernando County holiday schedule prepared in accordance with the Holiday Policy. In addition, attached is the Board of County Commissioners’ meeting schedule for 2024.
Staff recommends the Board discuss and select one (1) of the two (2) attached holiday schedules for 2024.
The meeting schedule provides for monthly workshops on the first Tuesday of each month, if needed. In addition, with a holiday being in the first week of July, the budget workshop will be scheduled for the second Thursday of the month and with the holidays in November and December, there will be no workshops.
Regular Board meetings occur on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month, with exceptions in July, November and December due to the holidays.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended the Board discuss and approve the attached 2024 Board of County Commissioners’ meeting schedule as presented and have discussion and approve one (1) of the two (2) attached 2024 Hernando County holiday schedules.
