BRIEF OVERVIEW
The purpose of the Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) is to assist the Hernando/Citrus Metropolitan Planning Organization in a review and advisory capacity relating to transportation planning and programming for Citrus and Hernando counties. The Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) consists of eleven (11) citizen positions appointed by the Hernando/Citrus Metropolitan Planning Organization Board. Six (6) of the eleven (11) positions are currently filled. CAC members serve a two-year term. James Reynold has submitted an application to fill the vacant Citrus County - Unincorporated position. The application is attached for review by the Board.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended the Hernando/Citrus MPO Board appoint James Reynold to serve on the Citizens Advisory Committee in the Citrus County - Unincorporated position for a period of two (2) years (August 1, 2024, through July 31, 2026).
