Presentation on the Legislative Appropriation Awarded to Hernando County Government Through the Efforts of State Senator Ralph Massullo, Jr. and State Representative Jeff Holcomb During the 2026 Legislative Session.
These funds will be used to rehabilitate the airport's inactive runway into an active taxiway and extend water and sewer utilities across the airport's infield. Together, these critical infrastructure improvements will create development-ready sites capable of attracting new aviation, aerospace, advanced manufacturing, and other high-value economic development projects.
