BRIEF OVERVIEW
The Procurement Department issued Invitation to Bid (ITB) No. 25-C01122/JG on August 6, 2025, at the request of the Hernando County Parks and Recreation Department, to obtain bids expand the office space available at the Parks and Recreation building.
The Procurement Department placed the legal advertisement in the Hernando Sun and the Tampa Bay Times on August 8, 2025, and the OpenGov website on August 6, 2025. The bid was sent to four thousand two hundred eighty-two (4282) matching vendor/contractors from the eProcurement portal. The bid document was downloaded by ninety-four (94) vendor/contractors and nine (9) submissions were received.

Bids were reviewed and evaluated by the Procurement Department to determine if the bids were responsive and responsible. The bids were then reviewed and evaluated by the Hernando County Parks and Recreation Department staff for award recommendation based on price, conformance with specifications and the Bidder's ability to perform the contract in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications required.
