LEGAL NOTE
The Planning and Zoning Commission has the ability to conduct a public hearing
pursuant to Appendix A, Article V, Section 5 of the Hernando County Code of
Ordinances. Comprehensive Plan Amendments must be internally consistent with the
Comprehensive Plan and comply with applicable Florida Statutes and Rules.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Planning & Zoning Commission (P&Z) review the proposed revisions to the Utilities Element of the 2040 Comprehensive Plan and recommend to the Local Planning Agency (LPA) / Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) that CPAM2303 be transmitted to the designated State and local agencies for review and comment.
