Received a request from Tresa Watson, Program Manager of the Hernando Community Coalition/Hernando Substance Exposed Newborn Taskforce, for a resolution proclaiming May 12, 2024, through May 18, 2024, as National Substance Abuse Prevention Week in Hernando County. The attached will continue to educate the community on prevention by raising public awareness about the importance of substance use prevention and positive mental health.
