BRIEF OVERVIEW

The Board awarded the Ridge Manor Waste Water Treatment Plant Valve Replacement to Rowland, Inc., under term Contract 18-P00031 in the amount of $61,617.68 on July 13, 2021, Doc Id No. 18509.

 

Change Order No. One (1) was a no-cost time extension of 120 days for a new completion date of May 31, 2022.

 

Change Order No. Two (2) was for a new line stop and new 16 degree gate valve which needed replacing as it would not close all the way, increasing the Contract by $46,054.28 from $61,617.68 to $107,671.96.  Change Order Two (2) was ratified by the Board on May 24, 2022, Doc Id No. 197000.

 

The final Contract amount is $107,671.96 (PO No. 21001023).

 

The work has been completed and Rowland Inc., has submitted its Final Pay Application No. Two (2) in the amount of $21,534.39.

 

FINANCIAL IMPACT

Funding in the amount of $21,534.39 is available in the following in Account No. 4121-07201-5304617 Renewal and Replacement, Repair/Maint-Sewer Plants.

Legal Authority under F.S. Chapter 125 (All releases properly include Hernando County).

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended the Board approve final pay request No. Two (2) in the amount of $21,534.39 to Rowland, Inc., to close out Ridge Manor Waste Water Treatment Plant Valve Replacement under Contract 18-P00031.

 

The final Contract amount for this unit is $107,671.96, a Contract amount increase of $46,054.28 over BOCC award.
