BRIEF OVERVIEW

Hernando County Fire and Emergency Services (HCFES) is requesting the Board approve the attached budget resolution for Fund 1661, Fire Services, and budget amendment for Fund 1691, EMS Services.  

 

Fund 1661 - Fire Services

HCFES are recognizing additional revenue of $690,770 that has been received over the 95% budgeted revenue amount.  This additional, there has been increased expenditures relating to fuel and construction costs for Station 5 and 6 requiring $775,369 to be transferred from Reserves.

 

Fund 1691 - EMS Services

HCFES is requesting $711,134 to be transferred from reserves due to increased expenditures relating to fuel and construction costs from Station 5.

LEGAL NOTE

The Board is authorized to take appropriate action in accordance with Florida Statues 125.

It is recommended that the Board approve the budget amendment and authorize the Chairman’s signature on the budget resolution recognizing additional revenue.
