BRIEF OVERVIEW
The Pine Island Parking Lot Resurfacing project was awarded by the Board on March 8, 2022, under Qualifications Contract No. 19-R00007 with assigned Quote No. Sixty-seven (67) to Goodwin Bros. Construction Inc., in the amount of $120,088.61.
Change Order No. One (1) is an increase to cut a trench and add fill in parking lot to allow Parks staff to install a larger water line, increasing the Contract amount by $3,250.00 from $120,088.61, to $123,338.61.
The final Contract amount is $123,338.61 (PO No. 22000680).
The work has been completed and Goodwin Bros. Construction Inc., has submitted its Final Pay Application No. Two (2) in the amount of $9,254.43.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funding in the amount of $9,254.43 is available in Expense Account 04441-5304601 Parks and Recreation, Repair/Maint-Bldg & Grd in the amount of $3,250.00 and Retainage Account 0011-5050067 in the amount of $6,004.43.

Legal Authority under F.S. Chapter 125 (All releases properly include Hernando County).

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended the Board approve final pay request No. Two (2) in the amount of $9,254.43 to Goodwin Bros. Construction Inc., to close out Contract No.19-R00007 Qualifications Contract, Quote No. Sixty-Seven(67) for the Pine Island Parking Lot Resurfacing project.
The final Contract amount is $123,338.61, a Contract amount increase of $3,250.00 over BOCC award.
