BRIEF OVERVIEW
The budget amendment will cover the unanticipated rise in fuel costs for the operations of the Solid Waste Department.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
It will reduce Budget Reserve for Contingency (4411 07602 5909910) by $275,000 and increase Landfill Operations - Gas, Oil & Lubricants (4411 07602 5305202) by $172,500; increase Recycling Operations - Gas, Oil & Lubricants (4411 07603 5305202) by $35,000; increase Convenience Center Operations - Gas, Oil & Lubricants (4411 07604 5305202) by $65,000; increase HHW/SQG Operations - Gas, Oil & Lubricants (4411 07606 5305202) by $1,500; and increase Waste Tire Operations - Gas, Oil & Lubricants (4411 07607 5305202) by $1,000.
LEGAL NOTE
The Board is authorized to act on this matter pursuant to Chapter 129.06, Florida Statutes. The budget for Fiscal Year 2022 must be amended to account for these unanticipated revenues, and the total 2022 Fiscal Year Adopted Budget will be adjusted in the amount set forth in attachment and the total estimated receipts, including balances brought forward shall equal the total of the appropriations and reserves.
