BRIEF OVERVIEW
On July 26, 2022, the Board approved the Memorandum of Understanding with the Constitutional Offices listed below for reimbursement under the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds through American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) for Essential Worker Premium Pay.
The following Constitutional Officers participated:
• Clerk of Circuit Court
• Supervisor of Elections
• Tax Collector
• Property Appraiser
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Recognize ARPA Revenue in the amount of 1,777,774 in 1555-31090-3311000. Various expenditures within 1555-31090 totaling 1,777,774 to cover the essential worker premium payment.
LEGAL NOTE
The Board is authorized to act on this matter pursuant to Chapter 125, Florida Statutes.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Board approve the attached budget resolution to recognize ARPA funds and increase fees to the above constitutional officers to cover reimbursements for the premium payment.
It is further recommended that the Board approve the attached budget amendment from the Clerk of Court for the increased expenses by the same amount to meet statutory requirements.
