body

BRIEF OVERVIEW

On April 26, 2016, Hernando County entered into an Agreement with CareATC, Inc., under Contract No. 15-R00117 to provide Wellness Center Services.

Hernando County Human Resources Department is requesting to amend prices as requested by CareATC, Inc., in updated Exhibit B, Description of Services and Fees.

The staffing rates have remained the same since the original contract was approved in 2016.  Pricing has been increased throughout the years on non-staffing related items. Annually Human Resources has approved the non-staffing related item increases at the time they prepare the budget for approval.  The increases on these items have been approved in the budgeted amount annually. Moving forward any annual increases to Staff or Non-Staff Related Items will be processed and documented by the Procurement Department through an Amendment.

Amendment number (2) two includes a clause for rate increases and allows for requests by CareATC, Inc., to be submitted hereafter annually (every 12 months) at a rate of up to 3% as supported by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics-Medical Care Services Index.

The Chief Procurement Officer has reviewed this requirement for conformance to Procurement Ordinance and Purchasing Policies and Procedures.
